Dr. Shawn Sieler is dedicated to providing expert care to patients and athletes. He received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1991. He stayed and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency training there in 1996. Dr. Sieler is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery. He completed the Harvard University – Massachusetts General Hospital for expert training in sports related injuries. He returned to New Jersey in 1997 to practice Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Sieler is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in knee and shoulder surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Robert Wood Johnson where he teaches orthopaedic residents, medical students, nurses.
He specializes in Sports Medicine which includes complex knee and shoulder surgery, upper and lower extremity injuries, and non-surgical treatment of neck and back disorders. Dr. Sieler offers the most conservative medical care when appropriate, and is trained for the most cutting edge, minimally invasive surgical procedures when necessary.
